Overview
A freelance project for a family vacation rental business on the Polish Baltic coast. Two locations: Ustka and Rowy, each with three apartments and their own character. Guests come from Poland, Germany, and the UK, so the whole thing needed to work properly in three languages, not just get run through a translator.
The challenge
Getting the multilingual setup right without it feeling clunky or mechanical. Ustka and Rowy are different kinds of destinations: one is a lively harbour town, the other is tucked inside a national park and very quiet, and that had to come through in the content for each location, not just get copy-pasted across. The booking flow also needed to be seamless, since that is ultimately what the site is there for.
The approach
- 01 Designed and built the full site from scratch, handling layout, content, and three complete language versions across all pages.
- 02 Built separate sections for Ustka and Rowy with apartment listings, local recommendations, and contact details that matched each location's character.
- 03 Integrated Booking.com and FajneWczasy links so guests could check availability directly without extra steps.
- 04 Kept the UX light, the kind of site someone browses relaxed while planning a summer holiday.
Outcome
The clients went from no web presence to a proper site that does what a hospitality site should do: give guests a feel for the place before they arrive and make it easy to book. It runs in three languages, the booking links work, and it has been live since launch without issues.
